Earn Ongoing Referral Commissions with the Rapidhire Staffing Profit-Sharing Program

Do you know talented IT professionals looking for their next career opportunity? Are you connected with software developers, data engineers, cloud specialists, project managers, or other technology professionals?

Turn your professional network into an opportunity to earn ongoing referral income with the Rapidhire Staffing Profit-Sharing Program.

Rapidhire Staffing rewards eligible individuals residing in the United States who refer qualified candidates who are successfully placed on qualifying projects through our staffing network.

Our program offers a 4.5% commission on eligible Rapidhire Staffing profits generated by your referred candidate for as long as that candidate continues working on the qualifying project, subject to the program’s terms and conditions.

Whether you are an IT professional, independent recruiter, technology consultant, or someone with a strong professional network, you can participate by introducing qualified candidates to our recruiting team.

Important eligibility requirement: This referral program is open only to individuals who reside in the United States. Individuals residing outside the United States are not eligible to participate.

What Is the Rapidhire Staffing Profit-Sharing Program?

The Rapidhire Staffing Profit-Sharing Program rewards people who help us connect qualified professionals with staffing and technology project opportunities.

When you refer a candidate who is subsequently placed on an eligible project, you can receive 4.5% of the eligible profit attributable to that candidate’s placement.

Your commission is calculated on Rapidhire Staffing’s eligible profit, not the total client billing amount or the candidate’s salary.

As long as the candidate continues working on the qualifying project and generates eligible profit, your referral may continue earning commissions.

How Does the 4.5% Referral Commission Work?

Participating is straightforward:

  1. Identify a qualified candidate. Connect with an IT professional who has relevant skills and is interested in project opportunities.
  2. Submit the referral. Email the candidate’s resume to recruiter@rapidhirestaffing.com after obtaining the candidate’s permission.
  3. Let our recruiting team review the candidate. Our team evaluates the candidate’s experience and potential project fit.
  4. Earn eligible commissions. If your candidate is placed on a qualifying project, you may receive 4.5% of the eligible profit generated by that placement.
  5. Continue earning while the placement qualifies. Eligible commissions may continue for as long as the candidate works on the qualifying project and generates eligible profit.

Referral submission does not guarantee an interview, placement, or commission payment.

How Is Rapidhire Staffing Profit Calculated?

For the illustrative calculation below, Rapidhire Staffing uses an 80/20 allocation of the hourly bill rate:

  • 80% — Candidate pay
  • 20% — Rapidhire Staffing profit

The referral commission is then calculated at 4.5% of the Rapidhire Staffing profit portion.

For example, when the client bill rate is $70 per hour:

Calculation Amount
Client bill rate $70.00/hour
Candidate pay — 80% $56.00/hour
Rapidhire Staffing profit — 20% $14.00/hour
Referral commission — 4.5% of $14 $0.63/hour

Under this model, the referral commission is $0.63 for each eligible billable hour.

This illustration assumes the 20% allocation represents the eligible profit used for referral calculations, with no additional deductions. The final program agreement should define the approved profit calculation.

Example: Calculate Your Referral Commission for a Full-Time Candidate

Let’s look at a practical example using a candidate named Mia.

Assumptions:

  • Candidate project start date: October 10, 2025
  • Client bill rate: $70 per hour
  • Candidate pay: 80% of the bill rate, or $56 per hour
  • Rapidhire Staffing profit: 20% of the bill rate, or $14 per hour
  • Referral commission: 4.5% of Rapidhire Staffing profit
  • Work schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday
  • Daily hours: 8 hours
  • Federal holidays: Excluded from working hours
  • Referral commission per eligible hour: $0.63

The monthly calculation below counts the remaining weekdays starting on October 10, 2025, and excludes the standard U.S. federal holidays falling within the period. Actual commissions depend on verified eligible project hours and the applicable project calendar.

Monthly Commission Breakdown

Month Eligible working days Working hours Client billings at $70/hr Candidate pay at 80% Rapidhire profit at 20% Referral commission at 4.5%
October 10–31, 2025 15 120 $8,400.00 $6,720.00 $1,680.00 $75.60
November 2025 18 144 $10,080.00 $8,064.00 $2,016.00 $90.72
December 2025 22 176 $12,320.00 $9,856.00 $2,464.00 $110.88
Total 55 440 $30,800.00 $24,640.00 $6,160.00 $277.20

How the Commission Is Calculated

For October:

  • 15 eligible working days × 8 hours = 120 hours
  • 120 hours × $70 = $8,400 in client billings
  • $8,400 × 20% = $1,680 in Rapidhire Staffing profit
  • $1,680 × 4.5% = $75.60 referral commission

The same method is applied to November and December.

In this example, Mia generates $6,160 in Rapidhire Staffing profit over the three-month period. At a 4.5% referral commission rate, the referrer earns $277.20.

Under the payment schedule specified for this example, eligible commissions for October, November, and December 2025 would be paid in April 2026.

This is an illustrative calculation, not a guaranteed earning amount. Actual eligible hours, client billing, candidate pay, holidays observed by the project, and the approved profit calculation may change the commission. Federal holiday dates are based on the standard U.S. federal holiday schedule; refer to the applicable project calendar for actual billable hours.

How Long Is a Candidate Referral Valid?

Each candidate referral remains valid for 90 calendar days from the date of submission if the candidate has not been placed on a project.

If the candidate is not placed within 90 calendar days, the referrer must submit the referral again to renew eligibility.

We recommend tracking your referrals and resubmitting candidates when their referral validity period expires.

Renewing a referral does not guarantee placement.

When Are Referral Commissions Paid?

Eligible commissions are paid quarterly, after the applicable quarter, according to Rapidhire Staffing’s established payment schedule.

For example, under the payment schedule used in the example above, commissions earned on eligible profits during October, November, and December may be paid in April of the following year.

Commissions are calculated using eligible project hours and the approved profit allocation, subject to applicable reconciliation and payment requirements.
